Delta half price sale
 

I just heard that Delta is having a 1/2 off lowest fare to ALL destinations, us and international !!! Get on line !!! Call them !!1 this is TOO good to miss

I don't see any half price sales on Delta. United supposedly had a 1/2 price. What a gimmick..they are matching SW airlines is all. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Or better yet! Call your travel agent who can look at all the airlines fares in a second and tell you who is the lowest AND advise you that Delta is in big financial trouble and can't afford to pay their agents and has frozen their own employees pay. Who would want to fly an airline that is that desparate for money?

Is this all that's left of the very long thread in response to this nonsense? Marilyn -- why ask for trouble touting for a particular airline? "Not even" -- welcome back, Penny!<BR><BR>Everyone else, notice the 4-day gap between the previous two posts -- representing a fairly substantial hatchet job by Fodors editors. Why don't they either drop the whole thread or leave it alone. An awful lot of stuff got axed and this just looks silly. <BR><BR>There's no way this post isn't going to turn into a Delta-vs.-travel agencies bashing match. Give it up.

Delta just announced on Monday that they would not be giving travel agents commission I doubt your travel agent will help you will tickets for Delta.

I've been looking myself. First United started the "half price". I started looking around only to find select markets affected. Mostly markets with Southwest, Jet Blue, Air Tran etc. It's still a gimmick.
