We are thinking of upgrading to business class from US to London is it worth the extra 30,000 FF miles. What can we expect in service and leg room? Thanks
Marge, if you have the miles, this is probably the most advantageous use of them from a $$/mile standpoint.

The difference is like night and day, no real comparison to coach. Much more comfortable.
You get a large, cushioned seat with foot rest, much more reclining than in coach, and enough leg room to stand and walk in front of the person in the next seat.
you won't regret it - it's like a mini preholiday - food and drink was fantastic as was the service. as someone above said theres just no comparison. trouble is when you have to fly economy again, it's never the same.
