Delta 777-200

We are on a Delta flight from ATL to Paris in May on a 777-200ER in May, seated a few rows up from the back of the plane. The seats were chosen deliberately to be a short distance from a restroom, which on our previous longhaul flights have always been at the rear of the plane. Now I am wondering if I made a mistake. Delta's seating chart for economy class does not show restroom placement. Seatguru's shows lavoratories only at the front of the economy class. I assume that Delta's chart is correct and Seatguru's is out of date, although it has been unchanged for at least a month. Is there a restroom at the back of the plane or not? This seems like a minor matter to me, but it important to my wife and, apparently, to a lot of other women.

I'm not seeing any non-stop from ATL to Paris on Delta equipment.

I see DL flight 8711, but it's on AirFrance metal.

DL28 is a daily ATL-CDG operated by DL. Don't know what date the OP is flying in May, but it is 767-300 on all the days I search fot in May.

But DL does show bathrooms in their seating charts. Here's the 772ER:

There are 3 bathrooms between 2nd and 3rd cabin, and one in the back. I would choose something closer to the front.

The original information is correct but I guess it was incomplete. Here is more: The flight departs Atlanta at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. It is an Air France codeshare DL8517, also AF681. The aircraft is listed as a Boeing 777-200/200ER. There is not much to pick from now, so this is probably a moot point, anyway. But I would still like to find out. Thanks for your help so far.

This is AF metal, so you need to look at AF 777-200 on seatguru, not Delta. Seatguru shows a single version of the 772, with 48 rows and 2 lavs in the back.

http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Air...Dest=CDG&Date=

How far is the walk from mid cabin? The seat pitch is 32" per row, so 7 rows is around 20 foot walk. To each her own.

Regardless, I think that sitting closer to the restroom is worse, not better. On an overnight flight I want to sleep, not smell the lav or be jostled by crowds waiting in line or have to hear the repeated flushing.

I see the flight listed as Air France and Seat Guru shows bathrooms in the back (a bit different than the DL link above).

Found it. http://www.seatmaestro.com/airplanes...00-247pax.html
Thanks for putting me on the right path with Air France. I could not find anything there, but when I googled air france 681 seating, the seatmaestro link came up. it matched the Delta chart. It does show toilets at the back. I had not heard of seatmaestro before. BTW, I did not book seats next to the toilets, but where the side seating goes from three to two. That is four or five rows up from the back and there is space between the last row and the toilets.

Definitely stay where you are with the 2-by-2 seating. AF's 777 are now 10-abreast instead of 3-3-3 before.
