Anyone know anyone who has made the Delta PIT-CDG trip yet?
|
I did the Continental 757 from Berlin to Newark. It takes a long time to board the plane, and they do a very slow rise up to 30,000 feet to save fuel, so the fasten seatbelt sign will be on for most of the first hour of flight.
Because there is only one isle, make sure you look to see where the flight attendants are when they are doing the beverage service. There is a toilet in the front of economy class and two in the back of economy. Trying to squeeze through the isle with a food and beverage cart isn't a lot of fun, especially if you are a full-figured person. |
Just discovered a few days ago when I checked on our flights online that the day of our departure (a Mon.) that Delta has discontinued non-stop PIT-CDG that day. I called, and they offered me a connection through either Cincinnati or Atlanta--or we could fly non-stop the day before. So, we're leaving a day early. Wonder when they were going to get around to informing me of this change? Oh, well.

When are you flying?
Delta (and most airlines) notify in order of flight date. So that means that if you are flying next week and the schedule changes you get notified first. Delta's "standard" tends to be a few weeks prior to flight. Now I always check periodically because the best options go fast and if you wait until the airline tells you they may be gone! |
It was about 4 weeks out when I noticed the change; I do check periodically and was glad I had done so.
