Define 'snack' - EWR-YHZ
Define 'snack'... I'm on a lunchtime Continental Express flight from Newark to Halifax. Meal is listed as snack. On some Continental flights, this is beverages and pretzels... on some it's a small meal. Not a huge deal, but debating on whether to bother packing a sandwich.

I've not had a "small meal" on an RJ flight - galleys are usually too small. I'd pack a sandwich. If someone else has had a different experience they can advise.

You can find a lot more information through pda.continental.com than the main site. As of today:
CO2966: A muffin or other breakfast bread CO2700, CO3076: Snack featuring a choice of cold sandwiches on French roll CO3091: Beverage service (time permitting) I'm sure there's time for beverage on that late flight for beverage. :) |
Thanks for the responses... the pda.continental.com site is pretty neat.

Yes, there are some extremely valuable information on the pda site. Most importantly, where your plane is coming from, and the upgrade/standby waitlists. Meal service description is just a bonus.

Thanks... do you know if there is a similar site for Delta? I've flown over 250 Delta segments in the last 2 years and would have loved to have some of that info up front.

As far as I know, Continental is the only airline that provides that much info on its website.

I never get on a plane these days without a sandwich, bag of cashews, and a magazine. I buy these all at the airport right before boarding.
