DAB Hotel?

Hi all:

I'm working on getting Mom to VT for Thanksgiving; and the flight times are a early. Does anyone know if there's a hotel at the airport, or very close by that she can park-and-fly?

Thanks!

I'm assuming that she wants to stay for a night at the hotel before she flies out in the morning? If so, there are many hotels to chose from and I'm pretty sure most do offer Park and Fly rates. The usual suspects as in Hampton Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, etc, etc...

If she just wants to park and catch a flight, there is a long term parking at the airport at $8 a day. They run a shuttle to the airport.

Also, I always found a better deal if I called the hotel directly. Just recently we thought we would need to leave a car near the Tampa airport for 4 nights after staying there for 1 night. The hotel front desk clerk I had on a phone gave us a flat $20 parking fee for the 4 nights even though our 1 night stay was a Priceline stay at $50 for a 4* hotel. We ended up not needing the parking, but now that we look back, it would probably have been a lot easier. (long story)

Once a few years ago I tried the same thing. Wasn't able to find a stay/park/fly package. There is a website that identifies hotel park/fly deals all over the country (can't remember the URL but it should be easy to google) and from what I remember it didn't list any for DAB. Things could have changed since then of course.

So I agree w/ AAF - you'll probably just have to call each property individually and see what they offer.

Thanks for the replies. I did call several properties, and finally found one (the Hampton Inn) that would allow parking for $5.00/night. Some of them seemed to think I was making the concept up - it was kind of odd. "What? You want to leave your car here? No, you can't do that. You have to be staying IN the hotel to park your car." That's why I posted here.

Thanks-
Cyn
