Connecting in CDG from Rome to Miami
We are on AF from FCO (Rome) connecting in CDG on to MIA. Questions are:
1. do we have to go through immigration @ CDG when we connect? Our bags should be checked all the way through to MIA from FCO. 2. As of now, arriving Terminal 2F and departing Terminal 2E. Assuming flight on time, we will have 1 hour 20 minute connection. Is this enough time? Can we walk it easily? Also, flying in AFFAIRES / BIZ, so any speedy transfer lines or anything? thanks for info. |
You are on what is considered a domestic flight from Rome. And do NOT go to Terminal 5 in Rome. You are not on an international flight.
Should be enough time. CDG is sprawling airport so walk fast. |
Nobody actually answered this, but yes you do have to go through immigration at CDG to exit the Schengen common travel area.

thank you

Even if you weren't connecting through another Schengen country (eg the UK) you wouldn't have to pass through immigration as you would be able to do the connection airside.
