Comments on Newark Airport six hour security problem
Have you seen the video? It appears that they use a tape to seperate the screened from the unscreened. Anyone could and did walk under the tape to the other side.
It seems to me that they should require airports to use plastic barriers that are at least five feet tall to seperate the screened from the unscreened. I'm not a security expert, but "da." |
Do they not initial your boarding pass or stamp your hand or do something to indicate those that have been screened?
|
If you watch the video, the security guard moved away from wher he was supposed to be. The report also said that he has been suspended. It is HUMAN error .... justlike hte Christmas Day one.

I've never gone through an airport with such a flimsy divider. Even my small regional airport has floor to ceiling glass walls.

I agree, Luisah. Those are the kinds of dividers that they use when one is getting their boarding pass. And we're often used to walking under them because we have luggage.
