Comments about Karr getting Royal Treatment

"JonBenet's alleged killer (John Mark Karr) enjoyed pate and champagne in Business Class on Singapore Airlines." www.einnews.com

Ok, why wasn't he forced to fly on a U.S. airline in economy and pay $5 for drinks? I thought government officals were suppose to use U.S. airlines? I can only assume his government escort couldn't handle 15 hours on a U.S. flight in economy.

Wally..He was on Thai Airlines..He wasn't "in custody" i.e. "arrested" so he couldnt be forced to do anything..

wally34949 Aug 21st, 2006 05:20 AM

You are right. What was I thinking--Singapore. Well, I knew it was one of those 5 Star airlines. I bet he won't be forced to pay the airline ticket, either.

BeachBoi Aug 21st, 2006 05:40 AM

Well, he was "escorted" by 4 agents from Customs and Immigration. But, Wally, HAVE PITY........They wouldnt let him close the door of the lavatory when he had to go!!! And from what I can surmise, Thai Airways has no problem with gels-- he brushed his teeth before landing in LAX....

Many airlines still give a toothbrush and paste in economy for International flights. I bet more people will be using it now.

Saw on the news the reason he was in business class was because those were the only seats available on that flight.

JAGIRL Aug 21st, 2006 12:29 PM

I wonder who paid for those tickets- for Karr and for the agents? :?

BeachBoi Aug 21st, 2006 01:17 PM

I saw on CNN some folks in Boulder being interviewed...They were HOT saying that the money is coming out of their pockets..And why wasnt he in the back blah blah blah..So looks like Boulder is flitting the bill.

Carrybean Aug 21st, 2006 02:58 PM

I heard on the news he was allowed to drink in Biz class so he might talk more. What a lot of hooey. If it was because coach was full, it would have been cheaper to keep the creep in a sleazy hotel until coach became available.
I'm also not saying he's necessarily guilty but he's a proven sleazoid whether he did it or not.

P_M Aug 21st, 2006 03:21 PM

If the biz class seats were the only ones available, they should have upgraded a couple of good coach passengers to biz class and put Karr in cattle class.

Or better yet, put him in the cargo hold.

This was the topic of conversation in the cocktail pit last night.Think about it: the publicity Thai Airways received was well worth the cost of the 4 or so tickets. They probably let all those TV cameras on for free as well.Full coverage of their meal service ....pate,fried prawns, then roast duck et al, and finally gourmet pizza, champagne flowing, how to while your 15 hour trip away in splendid comfort.

First of all, Karr is a sleezy B, but he had absolutely NOTHING to do with the JonBenet murder-he does, however, have a sick fixation on this poor, poor child, for which the DA's office in Boulder can do NOTHING to give her justice. Patsy Ramsey killed her daughter, pure and simple, and the two of them, mother and father, had to cover it up-as wealthy people do, when they do something socially incorrect like kill someone, in this case, their own daughter.

USG has nothing to do with this local murder-in fact, many prominent FBI officials have come out and said, it was a murder committed within the family, they don't want to be "bought up" by the Ramseys as a consultant-which is exactly what the Ramseys tried to do in order to gain credibility for their "innocence."

Boulder Colo. DA's office seems incapable of carrying out the most routine, the most basic crime scene search and murder prosecution that any DA's office around the country could do with one hand tied behind their back. Had this happened in New York, for example, the Ramseys would have been permanently behind bars 9 years ago.

So it is unsurprising, that they had this extremely troubled individual Karr sitting in business class, drinking champagne, with the taxpayers of Colorado footing the bill.
If anyone believes otherwise, there is an incredible motivational plan I know of whereby you can increase a portion of your savings by as much as 300%.

I see you've found another place to post your diatribes accusing various people of doing bad things. Please stop! Enough is enough, and I have yet to see you offer any evidence to support your statements.

Well I guess they could have put him in coach with the kids where the seats are closer togather
That would have went over real well huh!
some people are so easy to manuplate by the press,
I think there is much more important news to report.
what moron started this thread anyway

I heard that it was to make him feel relaxed with the hopes that he would open up.
