CO gets on board with 2nd bag fee

CO has joined the 2nd bag fee lineup.

I have no problem with the fee, but just started wondering if we may be looking at a fee for a second carry on? That would be a bad thing.

You know as well as we do that as soon as one airline imposes noew fees (usually for even less service) and GETS AWAY WITH IT, the others will follow.

remember NWA's attempt to charge extra for window and aisle seats? remember how fast it was stopped when all the protests started rolling in?

NW still charges more for better seats:

BeachBoi - I am not sure what you're asking, but continental.com is not known to have great security. If you read stuff on flyertalk.com, you'll hear "weird" stuff going on once in a while.

Weird is right!! My TA booked an itin in his GDS, a "guest" went into the PNR on continental.com, cancelled it, and CO couldnt care less!!
