Clothing attire for overseas flight

We will be traveling to Europe in Sept. (from LA to Munich). I would like to be comfortable for the flight but not too casual. Would a velour type jogging suit be too casual?

I have seen people in PJ's, so I thinking a jogging suit is ok

I agree, this is completely fine. I've flown coach, business and first overseas many times and I've seen the attire you describe.

No, not at all for the flight. Just make sure you change when you get to Munich Airport-because you will not be wanting to go about in the city, even from the airport, in a jogging suit-that's not done there (if you care about blending in, and not sticking out like a sore thumb, that is).

After going through passport control, just pop into a restroom and change your clothes (or do it on the airplane before landing).

Thanks for the input. It looks like I'll get to fly in comfort!
