Cincinnati- enough time to connect

I am flying Delta into Cincinnati airport and we have a 30 minute connection. Delta says it is a legal connection. But realistically is this enough time?

My only other option is to fly into Atlanta with almost a 3 hour layover. If at all possible I would like to avoid Atlanta it is such a crazy busy airport.

If you miss, whens the next flight from cinn?

I just on Delta's website and it looks like that it is the last flight of the day to BWI.

I've done it a couple of times, but everything was on schedule and it was close - and I didn't have to change terminals. Assuming you're making domestic to domestic connection. If it's the last flight to BWI, I'd be more comfortable if you could stretch it to 50 min or so.

If you're changing from a DL mainline flight to another DL mainline flight, you will probably be OK. But, if you're connecting to/from a Delta Connection flight, you'll have to take a bus to/from the C Concourse, and that could be cutting it very close.

Hope this info. helps!

I will be flying Delta from LAS to BWI with layover in Cincinnati. Another option I would have is a 55 minute layover in Atlanta. Would that be better? I hate to have to layover there but I will if it is better.

You'll be fine. Delta wouldn't allow it unless they believed it could be achieved.

Thanks for everyones help. Still not sure what I am going to do.

DL708 LAS-CVG has been mostly on-time in recent weeks.

Flightstats say 76% on-time (within 15 minutes), and 16% late (15-30 minutes) in the last 60 days.

That's quite decent.

But of course, if you have an important meeting the next morning in Baltimore, then you may not be able to afford that risk, even if it's a pretty small risk.

I have never been to Cincinnati airport is it large? Are the piers spread out?

Does Delta usually fly into and out of the same pier in Cincinnati?

rkkwan Apr 28th, 2007 06:35 PM

It's not that large, but please read LT's reply on 4/23/07 12:44pm.
