Cincinnati

I am considering a flight on frequent flyer miles that would have me changing in Cincinnati. I would be flying from Boston and going to Paris, both flights on Delta.

Would this involve a change of terminals? How much am I going to regret such a connection? I have never been to the Cincinnati airport and do not know if it is relatively manageable.

On the way back to Boston, I can get a nonstop flight from Paris so I wouldn't have to worry about claiming and re-checking bags on the way home.

CVG is small, and is getting smaller as DL has cut a number of flights and shutting down a concourse there.

It is highly manageable.

Thanks R. But when I checked the itinerary the last time, Air France told me the number of miles required had changed, so I can apparently no longer afford to go to Cincinnati on my way from Boston to Paris. We'll see what happens.

We went thru Cincinnati last Sept en route to Italy (Delta). It was a great airport, looked new, and was easy to navigate. I do recall having to take a shuttle bus to different terminal but I don't recall the particulars about that.

A shuttle is only required to/from concourse C which is used for some Delta Connection flights. Concourse C is being shut down and is supposed to be gone by January. CVG is a piece of cake.

Thanks for all the reassurance. It turns out that I won't be going through Cincinnati this time, but it's good to know for future reference.
