China Eastern - Lijiang/Chengdu
 

If there is an expert who could send me in the right direction - I would be greatly appreciative. I am trying to find out if China Eastern MU5855 flies every day of the week with these flight times: 07:50-09:10.
I get close to figuring it out - but not close enough... I think that one will work for us and the only other one I see is Air China departing late in the evening. Thanks!

When are you going? Searching flights for later in August, yes MU5855 is daily. Departure time is 8:00am. This is according to elong.net. Those flights are also all bookable.

I thought you might know. That is one of the sights I was trying, but I could not find it there. The date I need is May 19. Is it too far away to show up? Or am I just missing it? Thanks!

There is another site I found where it shows today's departure and ETA - but I just want to try to make sure for May 19???

Thank you. Do you also think it is way too early to book from US to China? I was not planning to book the MU5855 yet, but as part of my planning, if the flight does not run everyday - it could make a difference on my US/China flight plans. That is why I was trying to determine if it departs every day of the week. When would you recommend booking?

In normal years, yes, too early to book flight US to China. I usually suggest waiting till maybe January.

But next year is the Olympics. I don't know how that will affect airfare and availability throughout spring and summer.
