China Airlines- seating questions

For the route- IAH-SEA-Taipei-MNL, China airlines flies the airbus aircraft. Does anyone know:

1) What rows are the exit rows?
2) Is there more legroom in these rows
3) Is the window exit row seat some distance away from the exit door (in other words is it possible to lean one's head against the door)
4) I know that these rows have restricted reclinig ability- how much so?

I'd ask this on Flyetalk's "Other Asian Airlines" forum. There are some Taiwanese carrier experts there who have knowledge down to differences among specific CI aircrafts.

They should be able to answer your specific questions.

Thnaks for the tip- I visited that site but had a hard time finding that forum by that name. Can you give me some steps so that I can find that forum-= this site is so deep with so many things I got lost trying to locate that forum.

Go to www.flyertalk.com/forum

Click on the categories "Airline Programs". It has many subforums for individual airlines, but near the end, that's one called "Other Asian, Australian & South Pacific FF Programs".

Bill - I saw your post on Flyertalk, but it's in the wrong forum. The one I refer to is under the "Airline's Program" category. You've posted in the "Asia" section under "Travel&Dining".

rkkwan:
Thanks- this site is a bit confusing at times- there is so much there. I did get most of my answers directly from China Airlines. The price is good but I really don't like their policy of not being able to get your seat assignments until 24 hours before departure, even then you only get outbound segments. For the return flights again you need to call 24 hours before departure. As you know getting the right seats can make a big difference on those long trans pacific flights. If I go with them I feel we are at risk of getting some crappy seats. So I'm re-thinking my options.
