China Airline vs. Eva Airline????

I am planning to go to Vietnam and I want to be comfortable, but it looks like China Airline is a little cheaper.
Has anyone been on both and could you tell me if there is a lot of difference between them??
thanks

Just flew EVA to Vietnam a few days ago. Service was good. Didn't think the Biz seat was very comfortable though. I think their service is better than CA.

No question whatsoever. Go with EVA. If you can afford it, their Premium Economy product really is unparalleled. For the long-haul it really makes a huge difference (for not much more cost) to have the extra legroom and comfort.

We've flow EVA twice to Asia (from LAX) in Premium Economy and always found the trip to be easy, extremely comfortable and fairly affordable.

CA, while improving upon their horrific safety record and abominable service, cannot hold a candle to EVA.

Agree - we just flew back from BKK Boz class on Eva have used them several times now and their product for the money is FAR superior.

I just came back from Vietnam with EVA - really nice, and such a good price! EVA has much better equipment than China Air. EVA flies brand new B777-300's transpacific while China has quite old B744's. My very favorite airline, Asiana Airlines, is really the best of all, but EVA's price was just too good to pass up. Very nice flights, a much better safety record than China, and they use a newer section of Taipei airport than China does. Meals were good, even better than Asiana. You should join Evergreen FF Club to get the lowest fares.

By the way, China Air(Taiwan) is CI, Air China(mainland) is CA, and EVA is BR

Yep, I'm aware. I was just abbreviating China Air for the OP, not using IATA codes. I think most folks don't know those--maybe over on A.net or FlyerTalk, but not so much here.
