Cheapest tickets UK to NZ

Any ideas where the best place is to get cheap flights from UK to New Zealand in March?

You could check with Air Newzealand to use their price as a benchmark and then check some online agents like http://www.expedia.co.uk/ or http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Auckland/London/ , showing 725 quid for a return incl taxes and that's not too bad seeing as it's shoulder season.

China Eastern are reuted to do some good deals too.

One of the best search engines for flights is ITA software at:
http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch
They will list all flights and prices for you.

That should be "China Eastern are reported to" btw and they have a UK site - http://www.chinaeastern.co.uk/international.html
But only fly to Melbourne it seems and you would have to add on another ~$400 Melbourne to Auckland return.

www.mobissimo.com and www.bestflights.com.au will also do searches for you.

Emirates usually have good deals from various airports in the UK to Auckland via Dubai

Another one you might want to try is www.airasia.co for they're already flying into Oz and have just announced KL to London flights and then you'll still need Oz to NZ.

I always find trailfinders VERY competitive and no cc ee

You might also want to check out cFares - http://www.cfares.com for finding cheap flights. They're quite a unique travel search engine and i've found that they consistently offers the lowest fares for whatever your chosen flight is.

For the UK-NZ market, Trailfinders/Travelbag & Austravel are specialists. Travel 2 and Gold Medal are consolidators for this market, I believe they only through travel agents.

Oops - they only DEAL through travel agents.
