Changing Terminals at JFK
 
Travelling from Toronto to Iceland next August.
Changing terminals at JFK from 8 to 7
I expect that we will ahve to go through security to do this Am I right

Yes, your are correct. T8 (AA) and T7 (BA & others, including IcelandAir) are not connected. You can take the AirTrain 1 stop.

And you do have to go through security again. Make sure you have a minimum of 2 hours (since you will clear customs before leaving from JFK). I'd feel more comfortable with 3 hours on the way back.

Sorry ... what I meant to say is that on the way to Iceland you clear customs before leaving FOR JFK.

The OP should have precleared US immigration and customs at YYZ already.
