Carry on question.

Got a confirmation email for a flight that has 2 legs each way. One leg - carry on included. Next leg - carry on free.

What is the difference?

No difference other than wording.

Hey, you're traveling :)

Be careful— note the carryon sizes allowed by your airline. We recently flew Lufthansa overseas, and their sizes are much stricter than we are used to with Southwest.

For instance, now the lengths of each dimension (length, height, depth) are not added together to a final allowable size. It was easier when they said that 60” is the max, all added together.

For Lufthansa, each dimension had a maximum size. Personal items, like purses, could only be 4 inches thick. That eliminates a lot of purses.

MLGB - only to visit kids in Canada. Our travel days are over.

Yes, I will check the requirements. The flights are in May.
