can spray (aerosol) suntan lotions be in checked suitcases?

That's the simple question-- at least I hope it's simple. Thanks.

Yes, of course! Just make sure it's closed tightly so the lid won't come off. You may want to put it in a plastic bag not to spoil your clothes, just in case :)

We always check in sprays.

I've tried the aeresol sprays 2xs and both times the air pressure just forced the spray out (be sure to use ziplocks) I haven't tried the pump spray.

Yes, you can. I just traveled with them and I had no issues. I put tape around the plastic cap to prevent them from being depressed and I had no problems.

Thanks for replies. Yes, I was afraid that the pressure might somehow force off the caps. I'd thought of using zipbags, but wondered whether they'd be 100% leak proof. I guess I'll maybe double-zip.

I travel with aerosol sunscreen in checked luggage. Yes I do put it in a large ziplock along with other suntan lotions. I've never had either type leak.
