Call me naive but

what are nwa coupons?? I can't find any info on that anywhere. Does that have to do with the actual NWAirlines? domestic, international? Reason I'm asking, I'm flying to germany next month and just wondered. Thanks

Chyna, not naive, just probably not on the mailing list for all those envelopes ("Valu-pak" is one) full of miscellaneous coupons. Every so often, there's a NWA/KLM coupon tucked in offering a discount or companion ticket, which you redeem on-line or over the phone by giving the agent the number code on the coupon.

Around this way (RDU), there aren't that many flights to which they are applicable, and plenty of people don't fly those airlines anyway -- but we can turn over the codes on OUR coupons to someone (some ONE -- code is only good once) who can use them.

you made me feel better since you're right, I'm not on any mailing list. So say I'd have one of those coupons and I'm already booked that wouldn't help hu. Thanks for your clarification

Wow, thank you both, I should start opening those blue envelopes!

Another way to get them - inserts you get with your credit card statements.

My NWA certificates are not part of a coupon pack. They are mailed to me from NWA. I assume I receive these because of my FF account.

I get NW coupons because of FF.
I also receive them in the VauePack envelope (yes Faina open that up and grab the NW coupon). I don't think I have seen any coupons though for summer travel.
