Flying for the first time, please help

Hello All,

I am planning to visit Canada this September. As i am flying for the first time i have some questions that can help me in travel a comfortable journey.

MY TRIP DETAILS

New Delhi (INDIA) to Toronto (CANADA) Via DOHA and LONDON.

1) New Delhi to Doha (Qatar Airlines) stop of about 1:35 Mins.
2) Doha to London (Qatar Airlines) stop of about 4:20MIns.
3) London to Toronto (Air Canada).

now my queries.

1) Will i get all the three boarding pass, when i will be boarding at New Delhi?
2) Will i have to reclaim my baggage and re check in at Doha?
3) Will i have to reclaim my baggage and re check in at London?

And also please mention all the other details relevant to my trip, that will help me in this journey.

Waiting for your important replies.

no need to start a new thread - The monitors moved your original one to this forum

1) Most likely, yes.
2 & 3) Not if you check your bags all the way through to Toronto

Is this one continous travel or are you staying over in London?

If all in one trip, you should get get all of your boarding passes in Delhi and have your luggage checked all the way to Toronto. If you are staying over in London, you will have to pick up your luggage and check in again for your flight to Toronto.

I would call Qatar Airlines and ask them your questions to confirm.

When you check in, just make sure all of your bags are checked though to Toronto. The baggage tag should have the Toronto code on it. At each of your stops, Doha and London, you simply stay inside the secure area, following signs for transit passengers. If you aren't sure what to do/where to go ask an airlines employee.

I <i>think</i> johnnyomalley meant for <u>you</u> to call Qatar Airways.

It's probably too late to change now, but on your next trip to Canada or US try to find a non-stop or one-stop flight. The more stops you have the longer your trip is and the more chances of your luggage going the wrong way OR flights getting cancelled or changed.

British Air, American Airline, and Eithad all fly from New Delhi to Toronto with only one stop. There may be others too.

Just label your luggage both inside and out and make sure the bags meet the weight and size requirements of the airlines.

Have a good trip.
