buying ual ticket on expedia
 

I can save almost half price by buying a ticket on united through expedia. It is for travel dec 31 returning jan 5, am I crazy to do this to save $200?

I'm confused - are you saying Expedia is having a special sale you can't get by going directly to UAL.com? Or Orbitz.com?<BR><BR>Andrew<BR>

I can get the ticket for$273 through expedia. If I book directly with ual it is $485. this flight did not come up when I searched orbitz. I have never purchased through expedia, am also concerned about ual uncertainty. Is this concern valid or is it really business as usual as far as passengers.

Get it.NOW.It is bisuiness as usual at United.Most of us travellers will notice absolutely nothing.There should be no concerns about booking on expedia.com.

What did you do, Brenda? I would have been hesitant because no one will ever get refunds from Expedia for anything, and if there are ticketing problems, you are up Shet Creek.

Brenda, Expedia is a dependable company, if you have questions make sure you call their plane ticket department - they have different 800 phone numbers for plane tickets, hotel reservations, etc... They are easy to reach and fast to solve a problem - I had it once. I've used Expedia since, and will use it again if I like the price they offer.
