Thank you Goldens! I know it won't be easy going back to coach after this trip.

It is only money....flying Business is so much better. Remember, it is for both ways. Flying home in Business after a busy touring trip when you can sleep, sit without being squeezed, is wonderful. Even better than getting to Israel without being exhausted. Enjoy!!

Thanks, Elainee! The trip actually involves 4 flights-Tampa to Toronto Toronto to Tel Aviv and back-business class all the way.
I'm also looking forward to spending 2-3 hours in the upscale Air Canada lounge in Toronto between flights. It's just a shame that we have to shell out significant extra money to be treated like human beings! |
When I have a trip scheduled in business class (I use straight miles or upgrade) I enjoy stretching out the benefit by anticipating the trip, the lounge, possibly expedited lines, etc. It's more than the hours in the air.
As a friend says, when you upgrade the trip (or especially vacation) starts when you get on the plane, vs. when you recover from the flight. (The same friend considers Ambien "the poor man's business class.) :) I second the suggestion above to be sure you are enrolled to collect miles for the travel so that you can avoid the hefty charges on a future trip. |
Thanks, annw.
