business class
which airlines has better business class - U.S. Air or Delta ?
|
Depends on the aircraft used on the route, as the seats are different. The seat makes the biggest difference in a longhaul business class experience, and I assume you're flying longhaul to Europe or S.
USAirways use Boeing 767-200 (762), Airbus A330-200 (332) and Airbus A330-300 (333). Only the 332s have the new flat beds. DL uses Airbus 332, 333; Boeing 767-300 (763), 767-400 (764), 777-200ER, 777-200LR and maybe still one or two routes with the 747-400 (744). The Airbuses and the 744 have fairly new lie-flats (angled to the floor); the 764s and 772s now have flat beds. But DL's backbone to Europe is still their 767-300s, and the vast majority of them still have old-style recliner business class. So, you should find out which aircraft the two carriers put on the route you want to fly. You want to grab the one with the flat bed if available, and not a DL 763. |
airlinequality.com for reviews on both
Delta personally for me generally but more $ usually seatguru.com seatexpert.com for detail on seating on the aircraft what is all about for comfort might do some research there... In the past have Done 2 Skymiles CC for 50000 FF miles with delta charged the flights and the miles picked up 2 free RT air tickets as a bonus by racking up all those miles... so if u like to rack FF miles for me also Delta |
Thanks for the help.

We want to fly from PBI,FLL, or lastly MIA to FCO.
I can't find any flts. that have totally flat seats/beds in business or 1st class. |
Fly from PBI, FLL to ATL and have a flatbed in business class on Delta from Atlanta to Rome on their 767-400/767D.
