British Airways - name sequence on ticket

Hi everyone! Just a quick question.

recently my partner helped me booked an air ticket and sort of entered the name in a wrong sequence. i'm singaporean chinese and i've got a english name, so what reflected in my passport is stephanie (first name) xxxx (last name) yyyy yyyy (chinese name). confusing i know right.

so my partner entered stephanie in the first name box and xxx yyyy yyyy in the last name box. when the e-ticket was sent to me, my name on the e-ticket is STEPHANIE XXXYYYYYYYY with no space in between. will that be an issue with BA? i tried emailing them but haven't gotten a reply.

if i had booked the ticket on my own, i will key in as Stephanie YYYY YYYY / XXX.

hoping that someone here will be able to help me out with this. thanks in advance!

Happy Christmas

Steph

The name on your ticket should be exactly the same as the name in your passport. If I read your post correctly it is, except 4 x's in passport and only 3 x's on ticket,no spaces between names and in upper case. It is not unusual to have no spaces between names but the last name usually is first on e-ticket; e.g.,xxxxyyyyyyyy/Stephanie. Hopefully, BA will reply soon to confirm what is correct in their system.

My wife did this was not a problem for us on ba.com might check with them directly to change it but as longs as it is
an obvious typo and you have all other required documents
odds are great you will have no problems.

Good luck!
