Booking one-way international tickets with miles

I have miles with BA, American, Continental and Delta. I looks like I can get a one-way ticket in Business on BA for just $130 (approx.) from Miami to Western Europe for 50,000 miles.

Looks like I can get an International one-way ticket with American Airlines for 30,000 from Western Europe to Orlando.

Looks like Continental will NOT do one-way International tickets?

Does anyone know about Delta?

Exploring my options for summer, 2010.

Delta does not do one way award tickets. You can buy a round trip and throw away the return.

Have you looks onto points.com to xfer your miles from one program to another? I am guessing you don't have enough miles for a round trip in any of your FF programs...

Actually, I want to fly over in Business and return in Economy. I have 110,000 miles with BA, but I would rather fly over (night flight so I can sleep) next summer and the following summer. I can also get a few drinks in the lounge. Since the return flight is a day flight and I need to drive home from the airport, I would rather not be tempted with a lounge and a lot of drinks.

Delta will not do one-way tickets. AFAIK, AA is the only US program that offers this.

Delta will, however, let you mix and match classes, which seems to be what you really want to do. Each leg will be charged at the going rate. To go biz one-way and coach the other should run you 80k miles with Delta, if you get the cheapest availability. CO does this as well, and it would cost you 75k miles.

But Delta charges you round trip mileage for the one way. No "half off" because you only flew one way.

Last night I booked Miami to Geneva, Switzerland one-way in Business class with BA. The price, $127.01 and 50,000 miles. Now I need to figure a way to get home. I believe AA wants 30,000 miles.

Does anyone know a creative way to get home? If I fly BA, 25,000 + 219.33 in taxes will get me home from Brussels in economy. I could also use 12,500 miles and pay $364.33. This way I would still have 50,000 miles for June, 2011.
