booking a YOTEL at LHR between connections

We are travelling BA with a connection at LHR, We arrive at 9:15am terminal 4 and leave at 6:45PM terminal 1. The Yotel is on the street side of 4. Guess this means we have to go through immigration etc. Question is : Should we pass on the Yotel and stay on the secure side? Also how long should it take to go back through and make our way to terminal 1?
Thanks

You are talking about maybe 6-7 hours at the yotel. IF it actually opens before your trip - there have been many delays. I know they are taking bookings but who knows?? It is your choice but I personally wouldn't use a yotel for more than about 4 hours max. They charge by the hour and it doesn't take long for it to cost more than a day room at the Hilton.

We have the Yotel reserved for 5 hours and the total cost is 50 for the deluxe cabin.
My dilema is having to go through immigration etc in order to access it and go back through to get over to terminal 1.

Hotel would be my choice, daylight if you want it. A bigger room. Food service etc etc.

Dayroom at the Hilton goes for anywhere between 119-129BPs. You can have the room fro 9a to 6p.

In this case I think the OP did well and that's exactly the kind of situation the Yotel has been created for.

The OP won't get to the room until 10-1030a maybe 11a and will have it until 15-1530p or 4p. A shower, a bed, tv, radio, quiet, etc. The OP wil have enough time to get to term 1, go through security, and catch a nice lunch, dinner before a flight out.

btw, the Yotel also has room service if needed.

There are situations where I'm not too crazy about Yotel, (there was another thread about staying there the night), when it does not mke sense, but in his case, ENJOY!
