Best way to get to NYC from JFK
Hi all! I am taking a NYC weekend trip and want to max my time in the city before leaving on Sunday. What's the fastest way to get from JFK to the city? Any ideas welcome TIA

Methods:
Taxi - official pick up point
Car service (arranged in advance) (Pay extra for a limousine) (my choice)
Public transit (complicated by changes of modality, especially with luggage. Cheapest, longest time)
Taxi and car services can be delayed by road accidents, snow, etc.
Unlike modern cities, there is no direct subway/train/metro/tube/etc from a NY airport to Manhattan.
