best fare from Seattle to Anchorage one way
 

We are going on an Alaskian cruise in May03. We will need to get from Seattle to Anchorage one way.When is the best time to buy air fare? <BR>Thanks for advice,<BR>Scott<BR>

Start today if you know the dates of your cruise. If youu see a good fare just grab it. We have our tickets for June to Alaska RT from Newark for two of us for $642.73 on Continental. I think this is a great price for two persons. Unfortunatelly, OW are usualle more expensive

Do check with the cruise line to see if they have any deals. Since they run &quot;one way&quot; cruises in both directions (if you get my meaning) they may negotiate to buy blocks of RT tickets and split them up for OW uses.<BR><BR>Otherwise, go to the Alaska Airlines website and sign up for their email notification service, where they often post cheap fares. <BR><BR>Are you cruising to Seattle from Seward? I don't think so - maybe Vancouver instead? If so, check out cheap open-jaw routings ex YVR.

Probably cheaper and easier to buy a round-trip ticket and throw the part you don't need away after your cruise..<BR>Just don't tell airlines you are going to do!<BR>
