Hi, I am looking to visit Singapore in July Next Year, but am undecided with the flights i should take. I don't really want to pay more than £700, so here is a list of airlines with their prices for under £700:

Etihad Airways - £535pp
Turkish Airlines - £565pp
Finnair - £664pp
Air France/KLM - £694pp
Qatar Airways - £699pp

Which one would you choose? I am inclined to book either Etihad or Turkish, so which would you rate the highest out of these airlines?

Turkish has a 4 * rating per skytrax. I was happy when we flew with them

I assume as you have written £ you are coming from the UK? I do this route at least once a year. Why not just go Singapire Airlines? Are they really over £700 now.
I just flew BHX-CDG- SIN ( in PE though) with AF and I actually liked it ( routing was convenient for me)
Which airport are you flying out of LHR?

Now, greetings to the OP and congratulations, Jack, on future visit to our city-state of SIN. Concerning flights, can't help you with any remotely recent experiences with your listed choices. But, pleased to offer suggestions for my current and primary business travel carrier, Singapore Airlines. To date, have always experienced most satisfactory working flights from Heathrow to SIN with those sensational cabin crews. A cursory review of next July's SQ LHR-SIN flights reveals of price quote of ~ 37 pounds over your highest listed rival, Qatar. For next July, SQ is presently offering four daily non-stops, LHR-SIN. Nothing to lose by signing up for SIA's KrisFlyer programme via the ever-evolving: singaporeair dot com.

[And, concerning fares, a current SIA business class promo for N. America based travellers. If intrigued, best act promptly, as offer expires in ~ two days. Promotion is for travel from SQ's N.A. satellites of IAH, JFK, LAX, and my main N. America business travel port of SFO. Effective dates from late next month, through January, '15, with the usual regs, rules, restrictions. Again, singaporeair dot com for more info. I'd take the £37 hit and go direct with SQ!

The direct/nonstop SQ would be my obvious first choice. And honestly I'd even pay much more than just a 37GBP "surcharge" for flying nonstop.

While the airlines from the Arabian peninsula get much praise for comfort etc., I have so far not taken them for the simple reason that I do not like it that their flights cut the travel time from Europe to SE Asia in more or less the same number of hours.
So you fly 6-7 hours to Doha or Dubai from West/Central Europe, and another 6-7 hours to BKK, SIN, or elsewhere. It makes each leg too short to get any decent sleep, and too long to just have sit through a regular mid-distance flight. Plus you usually get hours between 2-7am to connect.
If I cannot get a nonstop to a SE Asia destination, I try to make the connection as "near" as possible in Europe, e.g. from London rather in Amsterdam than in Istanbul, to keep the long-distance as long as possible. Or rather in Amsterdam than in Paris because I find connecting in AMS much easier than in CDG.
The only exception from my "rule" (actually, just my preference) would be if my final destination was a smaller airport in SE Asia - in which case I would try as hard as I can to make the connection in SIN. One of the few airports on the planet where connecting is (almost) a pleasure.. but that is no secret, I guess.
