Best airline ? SQ or TH ?

We will fly from Europe to Bali and I'd like to know which of both airlines (Singapore or Thai) offers the best comfort in coach class in terms of leg room and seat comfort.

Thai's seats are pitched at about 34 inches whereas Singapores is about 32 inches.

In flight entertainment is said to be superior on Singapore. Thai still I believe uses the big cinema screen as opposed to the seat back videos, and on some of their overnight flights back to the UK only show 1 movie (leaving the cabin in the dark for about 9 hours) - not great if you can't sleep.

Both airlines serve excellent (for economy) food and drink and have very good service reputations. Thai once got me a meal from the business class cabin because my choice of economy meal had gone. Once took a flight between HK and BK with Thai and had the best sewrvice in Economy ever (excellent meal with 4 rounds of drinks - G&T pre meal, 2 Glasses of Wine with the meal, Brandy after the meal)

I'd pick on flight time and price as I think the pros and cons of each cancel out.

Thanks for your reply.

Flight time is about the same from Paris and schedule is convenient.

I think that the seat pitch is a big asset....

Definitely Thai for comfort. IIRC correctly some aircraft even have footrests! Singapore, in my opinion, is slightly overrated in Economy. The entertainment is great, but all else is better on Thai.

OK. Thanks...
Think I know now the obvious choice!

SQ Inflight entertainment is excellent, service very good indeed. Thai still used the old movie screens, so seatback entertainment like SQ, the actual seats on SQ are very good indeed. Although I like Thai for domestic and regional for long laud I always go for SQ even if it means a change in Singapore.
