Arrive CDG by plane and depart CDG TGV by train -- time required!

We had to make some flight changes because Delta changed equipment. We were to arrive CDG at 6am and we had a train to Beaune at 9:57a. Now, we arrive CDG on Delta One at 8:15a. Still have 9:57a train departure. Good news is the train station TGV is at the airport -- the question is how much time to clear customs/immigration and make our train?

Thanks -- assuming plane on time -- what is your best guess?

No first-hand help here, Philip, but looking at the link below, I'd guess it's going to be too tight:

Some years ago, my DH and I were very early for a TGV trip but the cost to change our train time was about $100 (euros) so we decided to wait. I'll be interested to read other replies to this post and wish you good luck.

No way to tell -- really. CDG can be a total zoo. Especially in the AM when so many long haul flights land. Being in a premium cabin will help a lot since you'll deplane first and 'should' get expedited immigration.

If you have no checked bags and arrival is not significantly delayed it is possible; 80 minute is recommended plane to train time allowance. The TGV station is in the same terminal (2) to which you will likely arrive, and once you exit baggage claim it is a brief walk.
If you have checked bags, it may be a bit more dicey.

Yikes. This is exactly why I decided not to get advance train tickets out of CDG to Reims last year, even though I know they are less expensive that way. In our case, it wasn't immigration that took a long time - unexpectedly it was that our baggage took over an hour and a half to come down the carousel! And we were in the premium cabin.
