Any thoughts on price fluctuations in Jet Blue tickets to Turks and Caicos?
I have planned a family get together for the 2nd week of November. The prices on Jet Blue go up as much as $200 per ticket depending on the day of the week, but for the rest of the month and straight through almost until Christmas are substantially less.
I have checked the island calendar and don't see any major events scheduled during our dates. What could be the reason behind the insanely expensive pricing for November 7th and 8th specifically?!
Thanks so much!!

cheapoair.com NYC Provo one stops via CLT
on USA Air from $200 EACH WAY ALL IN
might try to find something there.
kayak.com/buzz another good screening site.
few flights high demand not cheap sadly.
Good luck!

I presume Jet Blue increases prices due to demand and I'd hazard a guess that another family has a large get together leaving on those dates or it's just a random popular date.
Last May we booked a non stop flight to Cancun for the Christmas holidays (not Jet Blue) and less than a month later noticed the fare had doubled. We boarded with an extended family group of 35 people!
Call Jet Blue and ask if they have a specific reason for the price hike.

Thanks for the replies! I did call Jet Blue and they couldn't offer any kind of reasonable explanation. I finally gave up, moved the trip back by 1 day and was able to find tix for nearly $120 per person less than the following day. Seems incredibly random to me!
