AAFF-
I also got an email from AA alerting me of this special. However, I wasn't able to find out how long this offer lasts (it just says "for a limited time". Wonder if you know how to figure it out. I'm definitely interested in taking advantage of it.

yk,
I looked at the page abd few other links, and I could not find any dates. The only dates mentioned were the actual flying dates, so I will have to assume that as long as you could still book a trip according to the rules of the promo, that's how much time you have.

AAFF and yk - My impression is that this is a long-term thing. But of course, if the other airlines don't follow and/or something else happens, then they can terminate it anytime, and therefore they include the words "for a limited time".

I too got the e-mail from AA. Have already booked 2 tix for DFW-ABQ. It sure felt good paying only $5 for a plane ticket.
Will be staying at Hyatt Tamaya resort for a little R&R befoer I start new job after retirement of 10 months.
Got Tamaya 25% discount + breakfast using AAA. ($132/nite) Better deal than Priceline.

topping this as the offer is still good.
Just helped my BF booked DFW-OMA r/t to go in just 3 weeks. Beats paying $400+ for a regular ticket or driving 11hrs.
Will probably book DFW-DEN for Feb 05 for ski trip soon.
