American Airlines announces Premium Economy product

Jump to last reply

AA will be rolling out a new PE product on longhaul service, starting with its 787s next year and eventually extending to the existing 777, A330 and A350 fleets. http://www.aa.com/i18n/urls/premiumeconomy.jsp?anchorLocation=DirectURL&title=premiumeconomy

Note this is a true premium economy product, along the lines of British Airways' World Traveller Plus, and NOT an "enhanced economy" product like United's Economy Plus or the existing AA "Main Cabin Extra" seats or similar. Lots of details will still be forthcoming, for example upgrades, mileage credit and redemption features, etc.
