American Airlines announces Premium Economy product
AA will be rolling out a new PE product on longhaul service, starting with its 787s next year and eventually extending to the existing 777, A330 and A350 fleets. http://www.aa.com/i18n/urls/premiume...premiumeconomy
Note this is a true premium economy product, along the lines of British Airways' World Traveller Plus, and NOT an "enhanced economy" product like United's Economy Plus or the existing AA "Main Cabin Extra" seats or similar. Lots of details will still be forthcoming, for example upgrades, mileage credit and redemption features, etc. |
That would be a great option to Business. The leg rests alone would be worth it to me. I'm short and flying in coach kills me with no foot rests.

Good news -- thanks for the info!

While the seats in AA's MCE weren't any more comfortable, the extra legroom made the little extra cost worthwhile. Hopefully, the Premium Economy won't be unaffordable.

Sounds like the Qantas / Emirates product too . I wonder if they are releasing to complete withe Middle Easr airlines who off this as well as great service. Price wise is usually at least double Economy but much lower than business

Edible food would be nice - although it was better on my last AA flight - but if I can't get horizontal it's not worth the extra for me.

This would be great! Thanks for the info.
