American Airlines - 757 seat question.

Do the arm rests in the seats in the two exit rows (rows 17 and 18) go up fully? I am booked in seat 17A on a red eye from LAX to JFK tomorrow, and I just checked the tow seats next to me are empty. Will I be able to sleep on all the three seats, or should I change my seat to try and get three seats where the arm rests go up?

Thnaks in advance.

PS I did look at seatguru.com and counldn't find an answer.

The armrests do not go up as this is where the tray tables are located.

And just because the seats now show up as empty doesn't mean they'll stay that way -- but good luck with it.

Seatguru specifically states that the tray tables are in the armrest - so no, the armrest don't go up.

What flight #?

AFAIK, all LAX-JFK flights are 767s, with one exception, MD80 on a morning flight.

AAFF, sorry I made a mistake, I am on a 757 from HNL to LAX, and a 767 from LAX to JFK.

Just a little warning the window seats in row 17 do not recline. The seats have extra leg room.
