Thank you Silverlex. I seem to be getting somewhere ( sort of) I am finally able to see my booking /seats on check my trip all as should be BUT I still cannot get in to the Qatar web. After some backwards and forwards emails, it appears that my TA need to revalidate my ticket ( I can see 2 E ticket numbers - Qatar said that my TA have doen something in the background which has " diassociated the segment- what that means i have no idea) Qatar are saying once the TA does this I will be able to access the info etc...... I sent a note to my TA to get on it straight away!!!!! Hopefully when they open today they will sort.

The layover is short in both directions, hopefully we can see the lounge etc, the way things are at the moment I will be glad just to be on the flight and sat in my Biz class seat...the rest will feel like a bonus

If you enjoy wine, go for the Bollinger Rose and then the Lafitte which was just brought in to replace the previous Pomerol. I think Qatar has the best wine list on Biz Class! You dine on request - that is eat when you want to. On Biz class you will be given a special cover for your boarding pass to remind you to disembark at the premium lounge - not at the terminal. If you have 2+ hour layover , get a shower - makes a world of difference and then enjoy a cup of exotic tea at the tea bar. Enjoy.

Doha First Class Lounge was an eye opener for me. It was my first experience with the culture. There was a traditionally dressed man in robe and the red checked headdress (sorry I don't know the correct terms) carrying a child whilst behind him an Asian maid scurried behind carrying his can of coke.

I was amazed at how men loved their kids. I had previously thought they would consider that 'women's business' and leave it to them. Alas no.

I am so envious!
