How did your trip turn out via Allegro? I am scheduled to go to Jamaica this weekend via Allegro, and I am scared because of all of the negative feedback I have heard. None of it was recent though. Please let me know...Thanks.

I just returned yesterday via Allegro Airlines from Cancun to San Antonio. I did not have a problem, other than they damaged my suitcase, which can happen anywhere. FYI. ALL Airlines have horror stories.

LOL this is a funny post. I see Vic has made his rounds to other boards and not just the TA Board. I just got back from a trip to the Yucatan through Cancun's Airport. I am a Travel Agent but this was a family trip that was a gift so I did not book it. We had the pleasure of flying Allegro and I will have the pleasure of never flying them again. It wasn't a horrible experience but I do question the safety of their aircrafts. The plane we flew out on was nearly falling apart. On our way home we felt very reassured when we saw one of our wheels being rolled away and then waiting for 2 hours for them to fix a rudder(all the while not telling anyone at the gate why we were delayed). Yikes. The plane on the ride home was in a little better shape but had still seen many o miles.
