Airlines within US that will sell a one way ticket

A list of airlines that will sell a 1 way ticket. I know Air Tran does this connecting with Atlanta. Any others especially in the Eastern part of the US as a departure point.

All airlines sell one-way ticket. But I think you mean you're looking for airlines that sell o/w at 1/2 the price of discount roundtrip tickets.

In that case, I believe all low-fare airlines do that. Southwest, AirTran, Jetblue, etc...

Find out which low-fare flies your route. Forget the majors.

I agree with rkkwan --- skip the majors if you want fare prices on one-way tickets.

Since you specifically mentioned the eastern U.S., you might take a look at Independence Air (formerly flying as United Express out of Dulles). They're now independent and offering good fares for flights originating out of Northern Virginia's Dulles airport.

Check 'em out on the web: www.flyi.com

Have fun!

I just got some fantastic deals on Southwest Airlines from FLL to PHI ($49 each way online!) Some of their fares are really cheap, but others aren't as good. You just have to book far enough in advance to get the better deals. They say some one way tix are as low as $39.

All airlines in Canada now sell tickets on a one-way basis without price penalty. This includes our only "major", Air Canada.
