airliners.net photo captions
I don't know how many of you look at airplane pictures, but some of the captions are pretty funny, especially those on cabin photos. These are 3 from the very first page of cabin photos I found tonite:

Note how narrow and seats and aisles are in coach. [But huge video screen!] www.airliners.net/open.file/1027025/L/ - This guy probably had an orgasm www.airliners.net/open.file/1026409/L/ - "Stylish", "excellent", blah blah blah about Air Asia. But please look at the 29" pitch. The person in the foreground put his/her <b>knees</b> against the tray-table! |
Or how about these:
www.airliners.net/open.file/1018588/L/ - Why is it so memorable on a YS-11A? Because it's made in Japan? Noisy? Bumpy? www.airliners.net/open.file/1011600/L/ - 3 hour with no IFE, and this guy is bored. ADD? He probably hasn't flown in the US much? Or maybe just spoiled by CX and other Asian widebodies. www.airliners.net/open.file/0997834/L/ - "A346 rocks"? How about, "LH sucks"! What major airline buys new long-haul aircrafts with no personal IFEs? Or how about "Hm, what's the big rectangular empty space in the seatback for?" Anyways, this is not about the caption, but look at this: www.airliners.net/open.file/1012661/L/ Am I the only one that things VS' cubicle setup is stupid? Herringbone is fine, but seats should point outwards. In VS's setup, everybody's looking at other passengers, instead of looking out the window. What a waste. |
I guess they'll keep increasing the size of their video screens to keep us busy enough not to realize that seat sizes are shrinking.
The cubicle set-up reminds me of barber/beauty shops. The only thing missing is the shampoo! |
