I fly a lot... these ratings are generally useless.

Any of them CAN and WILL have a bad day/crew/flight etc. I have had great crews on Delta and horrid ones. Same on AirFrance and KLM. I have watched an AA gate agent start cursing out passengers (something tells me that I should not then say ALL AA gate agents curse and I won't even fly them again)

If you only fly airlines that get outstanding reviews I think you have to fly only to Asia on a couple of carriers. Most of us don't have that option :)

airlinequality.com has been a joke from day one.

I flew close to 1M miles in 10 years, most with AA and their OW partners and here is my opinion.

1. - Cathay Pacific
2. - Qantas
3. - American
4. - LAN
5. - JAL
6. - British Airways

That's just MHO

That is also true for the first/business class lounges with the only exception of grading BA's lounges at number 2 spot and the others dropping 1 spot.

American Airlines Lounge Review gets a 3.5 rating. British Airways lounge gets a 8.1 review. Qantas gets a 7.5.

Isn't that what I said wally ?

I wasn't disagreeing with you, I simply looked up the numbers on www.Airlinequality.com. Some people believe that 100+ comments are better than just 1 comment.

only if you believe that useless site... :-D
