Air tahiti Nui

I am taking a flight on Air Tahiti Nui from LAX to Paris. How is the service, quality of flight entertainment, food, free alcohlic drinks? Is it equivalent to Air France or British Airles?

I have flown this route with them several times. Every passenger gets a travel pack with slipper socks, ear plugs, eye mask, and head phones. You will have individual screens on the back of the seats. The food was fine for airline food. They served two meals if I recall. Free alcohol. There are snacks in the back galley during the flight if you are hungry, and the everyone is very friendly. I stood back there and visited with the crew and other passengers for quite a while during the flight.

I have not flown Air France or British Airlines so I can't compare, but we really like this airline.

i should add that the crew went out of their way for me in 2004 when i was exceedingly sick on one of their flights.
i would *definitely* fly with them again, and have looked at flights on that route.
