I think it's a totally dumb idea, do they sit at the back and have people make appointments to see them, how do they speak to the passengers when the drinks trolleys are attempting to get past. Sounds like another waste of our tax money.

it seemed like (i'm not totally sure) they would take out a row of seats or something, and put a desk there.

If the flight attendants are so busy providing basic services that they cannot stop to answer questions, perhaps the airline should consider hiring more flight attendants. That would obviate the need for 'concierges'. Or is the concierge wage rate lower than the wage rate for the flight attendant?

As I said it is totally dumb and unworkable, anyway most of us are so internet savvy who use this website that we have a mass of info in hand when we take off, usually being more knowledgeable than most travel agents these days, well, that's my experience here at home.
Sounds like something dreamt up by one of our inept politicians who need to spend some of the excess reserves of millions of tax payers money that they refuse to return to us in tax cuts.
