air asia quoted me 5,000 thai baht ($200) to fly Bangkok to gold coast queensland return!!
can this be true?

Yes it can be have flown LON to KL with them 140 Quid on a sale so they can be quite cheap a nice ride pack light onebag.com be careful everything costs extra still great value...

Yes, it can be true. But also keep in mind that Air Asia recently stopped flying to London, and have to refund those who bought their tickets hoping for a cheap trip to the U.K.

I didn't know they had stopped the London - KUL route. Money worries or just couldn't make the route pay do u think?
I like Air Asia and use them a lot when I got to SE Asia.

Low cost and longhaul don't mix. Too many examples of failed attempts over the past 30 years and basically no single success story.

Oh dear, i have always found Tiger to be great, when did this happen? you must be entitled to a refund if it wasn't your fault??
