AF award tkt-checkmytrip?
 

I have an award tkt using DL Skymiles for AF from Lax-Cdg and would like to check on the seats, etc. but can't pull up the info on checkmytrip with the conf. # that I have-is there another site where I can do this? Thanks.

You can't pull it up with the DL record locater. You need the AF locater which you can get by calling AF. Did you call AF for your seat assignments already?

Every airline has a contract with a <b>G</b>lobal <b>D</b>istribution <b>S</b>ystems company, or GDS for short. Unfortunately it's not just one company. The 4 major ones are Sabre, Amadeus, WorldSpan, Galileo and few smaller ones. If AF is not using Amadeus (checkmytrip.com) then it's not possible to look it up on that particular site.

<b>Patty's</b> advice is right on. At the very least you will know if AF makes the PNR info available to Amadeus.

I know that Galileo and Sabre also have similar sites to checkmytrip.com I just can't recall what they are at the moment. I think I have the sites bookmarked on one of my laptops so I'll try to find it.

What do you know, the sites are bookmarked on this laptop.

One more thing. Some airlines won't allow their GDS company to display the reservation on their sites. American is one. You can only look at the reservation on AA.com.

Yes, AF does make their PNR info available to Amadeus and you can use checkmytrip to monitor seat assignnments.

We do have seat assignments and I will call AF to get the PNR and try all the sites you mention-thanks!
