AA seat assignments

Jump to last reply

We booked a flight to Venice for September and chose seats in row 30 to avoid premium fees. Several days after booking I went to AA site and changed seats to row 12 which were available at no extra charge. That was 3 weeks ago.
Just checked today and we were assigned those seats in row 12 but they are now listed as premium seats at $82 each per flight. We were never charged the premium.
Are we likely to be charged for those seats when we arrive to check in?
