AA potty upgrade
Beginning tomorrow, coach passengers can use first class restrooms on domestic flights.
Let the comments commence: |
Really? Where did you hear this?
|
It was on the news last night.
|
I was on an AA flight last night. I asked a flight attendant about this. She said she didn't know all the details, but that it wouldn't be permitted on all flights.
|
Here's the USA Today link:
http://www.usatoday.com/travel/fligh...s_x.htm?csp=34 Interesting that AA issued no formal press release.... but it did hit the news. I hesitate to suggest a "leak" . . . . |
"A Boeing 757 has two lavatories in first class, which has 22 seats. Two are in coach, which has up to 160 passengers."
Could that be a reason? And in www.seatguru.com, it shows a Boeing 777 with 2 toilets in first class, 3 in business and four in economy. There is only 35 people in Business Class when full. |
It's not true that 757s have two first-class lavs. There is one FC lav. There are three coach lavs, one forward (between FC and coach), and two aft.
