AA Magazines for Miles
 

I recently redeemed some American Airlines Advantage Miles for a Wall Street Journal subscription. The miles have been deducted from my account and the website said I should start receiving my subscription in 4-10 weeks. How long does it usually take in your experiences?

I did this with Delta miles and selected ESPN magazine - because it was the least awful magazine for the fewest miles. It was for a short subscription - less than a year. It started in about 6 weeks. It is still continuing several years later - with no further deduction from my account or billing to anything.

Just did this with USAir for Wine Spectator. It took a while - maybe 2 months - but did finally start coming.

How does one order magazines w/ ones' miles if they don't mail you anything? Is there a website to go to?
